IT Compliance Analyst

The IT Compliance Analyst reviews, monitors, audits, and maintains IT security frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, initiative, and leadership in managing compliance processes and improving workflows.
What you will be doing:
- Monitor IT Security frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices.
- Execute compliance tasks, analyze, summarize, and report findings to leadership to ensure root causes are understood and addressed.
- Assist in coordinating and supporting internal and external IT Security audits.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external audit and compliance agencies to facilitate audit execution.
- Translate industry, government, and contractual compliance requirements into IT Security frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Execute regular or scheduled compliance tasks, summarize findings, and report results.
- Facilitate annual audits by understanding audit evidence requirements, meeting deadlines, and reviewing issues prior to evidence submission.
- Learn and apply Epicor security policies while ensuring teams submit evidence on time, review evidence, and follow up on tasks that don't meet expectations.
- Manage questionnaires and compliance inquiries, ensuring answers are correct, complete, and clearly presented.
- Take the initiative on new products and projects, identifying areas for improvement.
- Demonstrate leadership and reliability in managing project timelines, collaborating with teams, and ensuring projects stay on track.
- Develop complete project plans to scope, execute, and complete complex initiatives.
- Become an expert on assigned applications/processes, continually seeking ways to improve and optimize.
- Consistently meet Epicor compliance requirements, such as mandatory training and office attendance.
- Track all commitments, projects, priorities, and follow-ups, ensuring deadlines and stakeholder communications are consistently maintained.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in data mining, technical support, and data normalization.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
What could set you apart:
- 3+ years of applicable experience with demonstrated success in IT compliance or related roles.
- In-depth knowledge of IT Security and Compliance fundamentals.
- Experience managing audits, compliance processes, or leading cross-functional projects.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (high school diploma required).
- Leadership experience or a proven ability to take ownership of processes and projects.
- Initiative and curiosity to tackle new challenges and continuously improve processes.
