Technical Application Specialist

The Technical Support Specialist is focused on diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues within software applications, ensuring a high-quality customer experience through effective communication, deep technical understanding, and adherence to support procedures.
What you will be doing:
Confer with customers via phone, email, or chat to troubleshoot and resolve technical or system problems, including repair and testing of solutions.
Follow established procedures to resolve client-server software application issues involving Microsoft SQL, web servers, credit card payment terminals, network printers, and Android/iOS devices.
Respond to escalated support scenarios where standard processes have failed, applying product knowledge and a customer-first approach.
Stay current with software updates and changes to deliver timely and accurate solutions.
Assist with system setup, configuration, and support for integration tools used in product customization or extension.
Collaborate with other departments such as customer experience and sales to resolve technical concerns.
Mentor and assist other team members to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency in service.
Contribute to and utilize internal knowledge base articles and FAQs.
What you will likely bring:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer experience and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of application fundamentals and business processes
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high call-volume environment
What could set you apart:
3+ years of applicable experience in a technical support or customer service environment
Familiarity with SaaS or e-Commerce platforms
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL and integrated systems
Industry-specific knowledge and adaptability to new technologies and environments
