You will be an integral part of a small but growing team that manages the administration of TELUS Health’s drug authorization programs. As a growing team, process optimization and efficiency are key drivers to the success of the team.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for

  • Reviewing prior authorization drug requests and supporting other drug authorization programs administered by TELUS Health
  • Liaising with other internal teams in support of the drug authorization programs
  • Communicate outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sharing insights on how work processes can be optimized

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • One or more years of experience in customer service or a service-oriented industry
  • Previous experience in healthcare or related field would be an asset
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician would be an asset
  • Experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management industry would be an asset

What you bring

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access (experience working with macros, would be an asset)
  • Able to apply critical-thinking skills to resolve issues
  • Requirements gathering
  • Strong co-ordination skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external customers

Education
College Diploma or University Degree

Salary Range: $49,000-$73,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
