As a Business Consultant, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the digital transformation and profitability for all Business Solutions’ core platform users. You are a consultative and strategic thought leader, well-versed in enabling key programs that grow our digital platforms, including execution of our common architecture strategy, deploying AI strategically, and maximizing TELUS’ return on investment in our digital toolset.

What you’ll do

  • Bring a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a proactive and collaborative manner, capable of presenting complex information in an easily understood manner
  • An avid storyteller, your strong presentation and excellent interpersonal skills will be beneficial as you engage with senior management and business stakeholders
  • Applied data engineering and data analysis experience, accelerating business strategy decisions
  • Utilize technical tools (Google Cloud Platform, SQL Server) to bring out strategic insights that drive change and influence decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of strategies

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience as a business consultant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of business processes and strategies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in technical tools such as databases (SQL Server), data analysis and data pipelining tools

Great to Haves

  • MBA or other advanced degrees in a related field
  • Experience with SAP financial tools
Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
