You will play a key role in managing, securing, and improving multiple installations of our IRIS Smart Manufacturing platform, deployed both on cloud and on-premises. Our platform uses cutting-edge tech including microservices architecture, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Blob Storage, IoT Hub, Event Hub, and more—all delivered with DevOps culture and Continuous Delivery principles.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the IRIS Platform operations roadmap, including research and development activities.
  • Automate deployment of the IRIS Platform across Azure, AWS, and on-premise environments (K3s, RKE2).
  • Support customers and service teams with multiple platform installations.
  • Conduct monthly audits and vulnerability assessments (DAST), review backups, costs, and access controls.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices projects (Azure DevOps or similar).
  • Apply and enforce security best practices to meet compliance and address vulnerabilities.
  • Create and update Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment.
  • Oversee database and messaging system operations: configuration, scalability, backups (Postgres, Elastic, Redis, Kafka).
  • Set up auto-scaling for platform services in Kubernetes environments.
  • Enhance monitoring tools and alerts (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty).
  • Serve as the main operations contact for multiple product teams.

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • 5+ years in commercial IT operations roles
  • Minimum 3 years with Linux systems
  • 3+ years hands-on with Kubernetes in production
  • 2+ years using Docker containers
  • 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar tools)
  • 2+ years using automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • 2+ years working with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Solid understanding of security best practices; experience with vulnerability management/tools (Acunetix, Snyk, CheckMarx, Trivy)
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and experience in root cause analysis
  • Experience working within Agile teams
