About the role:

• Defining test strategy and coverage for product features/releases, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Leading test planning sessions with Product Managers and Developers, identifying gaps in requirements and clarifying ambiguities.
• Designing complex test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, and End-to-End business process validation.
• Owning automation frameworks – developing, maintaining, and scaling automation scripts using Katalon, Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
• Driving continuous improvement in QA processes, introducing new tools/technologies (including AI-driven testing approaches) to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Executing non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility) and conducting vulnerability scans with tools like Qualys.
• Mentoring junior testers and interns, guiding them in test design, automation practices, and defect management.
• Championing best practices in SDLC/STLC, version control, and CI/CD integration for automated test execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to analyze specifications and define testing requirements.
• Identify gaps in business requirement documents and ensure clarity before execution.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and system integration tests for web applications and mobile app.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps in Azure DevOps, track severity, and ensure timely resolution.
• Present test metrics and status reports to stakeholders regularly.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Katalon, Selenium, or Appium; convert manual test cases into automated scripts.
• Build End-to-End business process test scenarios and integrated system tests.
• Partner with client engagement teams to align test coverage with business requirements.

About you

• Strong expertise in automation tools (Katalon, Selenium, Appium,..) and scripting in Java/Groovy.
• Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and system integration testing.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Having SCM Knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently with minimal mentoring.
• Flexible and multi-skilled across testing domains.
