About Peak

Peak is a leading European early-stage venture capital firm with over €300M under management, investing in category-defining software companies from pre-seed to Series A. We back ambitious founders across Europe, combining capital with deep go-to-market expertise to help them scale fast and win their markets.

About the Role

At Peak, we’ve believed in the power of AI for over a decade—investing in AI-native companies long before it was mainstream. Today, with the rapid rise of GenAI and agent capabilities, we see an equally exciting opportunity to transform our own ways of working.

We’ve already launched initiatives like our in-house AskPeak AI chatbot, but we’re just getting started. To take our automation and AI adoption to the next level, we’re looking for an AI Workflow Engineer Intern / Working Student to lead the charge in streamlining and automating our core processes.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our investment team to design, implement, and optimize automations for sourcing, deal-making, and fund administration—leveraging no-code tools, APIs, and AI-powered platforms to help us work faster, smarter, and more effectively.

If you’re passionate about technology and venture capital, and you get a kick out of replacing manual work with elegant automations, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project Prioritization & Strategy – Map potential automation projects, assess their impact, and create a roadmap to ensure the highest-value initiatives are tackled first.
  • Solution Design & Implementation – Build and deploy workflows using no-/low-code tools (e.g., Leverage & Zapier) to streamline data flows, reduce repetitive tasks, and boost team productivity.
  • Data Management – Maintain clean, reliable, and scalable data pipelines across systems.
  • Tech Infrastructure Support – Help evolve our automation infrastructure so it scales with the fund’s growth.
  • Continuous Improvement – Review, refine, and expand existing automations to deliver ongoing efficiency gains.

You’ll Flourish in This Role If You

  • Have strong technical skills: Comfortable with no-/low-code tools (Zapier, Integromat, Lleverage, n8n etc. ) and familiar with APIs, databases, and integrations. A background in computer science, product management, or hands-on coding is a plus.
  • Have gained first first-hand work experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment already
  • Stay on top of the latest in AI and love experimenting with new technologies.
  • Are a self-starter: You take initiative, spot opportunities, and run with them without waiting for instructions.
  • Are a problem-solver: You enjoy building practical, efficient solutions to complex challenges.
  • Learn fast: You pick up new tools, troubleshoot issues, and adapt quickly.
  • Collaborate well: You communicate clearly, work independently, and enjoy working with others to get the best results.
  • Are curious about venture capital: You’re interested in startups, VC, and the challenges early-stage investors face.

Details & Application

  • Internship: Starting ASAP, minimum 4 months.
  • Working Student: Minimum 10 hours per week
  • We are hiring on rolling basis

Interview Process

Our recruitment process is designed to be transparent and efficient. It typically consists of three steps:

  1. Personal Fit Interview – A conversation to understand your motivations, background, and cultural fit with Peak.
  2. Case Study – A practical task to assess your problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to build or propose automation solutions.
  3. Management Interview – A final discussion with senior team members to align on expectations, impact potential, and next steps.
