This is an opportunity to join a forward-looking multi-year Investment Platform transformation program designed to deliver a modernized target operating model. The initiative will drive end-to-end modernization of technology and data capabilities, enabling streamlined processes, enhanced scalability, and improved decision-making across investment, operations, and finance teams.
The Transformation Office is accountable for all aspects of program delivery including Program and Project Management, Change Management & Communications, Transformation Design and Delivery, and Data Enablement.
Scope of Position:
As a Senior Business Analyst for Front Office, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our transformation objectives for our Front Office partners. Reporting to the Front Office Transformation Lead of the Transformation Office, you will focus on defining requirements for solution design and integration, redesigning workflows, supporting testing and development of reporting tools for our investment teams. This role requires a deep understanding of portfolio management and trading workflows across capital markets asset classes such as equities, fixed income exchange-traded derivatives (ETDs), OTCs, and FX, with ability to translate complex portfolio management and trading concepts into clear business requirements and workflow designs, collaborating directly with Front Office stakeholders.

This is a 12 month fixed term direct contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements and Collaboration: Partner with investment team subject matter experts (SMEs) to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements to implement the Aladdin platform for Front Office functionality and workflows.
Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate effectively with cross functional teams in program management to provide accurate and timely status tracking and reporting on business requirements; identify and proactively address potential risks and issues related to workflow designs, integration considerations, and arising from analysis discussions with front office users.
Workflow design and Solution Integration: Facilitate analysis and design workshops with investment team SMEs to map from current to future state business processes to ensure accurate configuration within Aladdin platform; lead business process redesign to align with new system capabilities and industry best practices.
Testing and Reporting: Collaborate with project stakeholders in Testing and Reporting work streams to provide business requirement specifications in use cases, test plan, and reporting capabilities.
Change Management and Training: Support Change Management and Training teams to ensure smooth and effective onboarding of Aladdin platform.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: University degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), are highly desirable.
Business Analysis Subject Matter Expertise: 6+ years’ experience in Business Analysis and requirements documentation, and familiarity with front office processes such as order management, execution, trade capture and lifecycle events for capital markets asset classes as mentioned above in scope section.
Project Implementation: 3+ years’ experience in investment solutions enhancement or transformation projects, ideally in implementing and configuration of IBOR applications such as Aladdin, CRD, Bloomberg platforms.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to document and analyze specific characteristics of various asset classes, with acute attention to detail.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with familiarity and comfort interacting with technology teams and investment professionals to ensure business requirements are met.
Learning & Curiosity: Strong intellectual curiosity and adaptability to changing investment and technology environments.
