This position will report into the Manager, Internal Audit. The incumbent will have primary responsibility for supporting the internal controls program and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with members of the Internal Audit team to provide support for the internal controls program testing and reporting
  • Present and discuss findings and recommendations to the Manager, Director or Vice President of the team, and specific business unit management
  • Ensure that action items are thoughtful, relevant, constructive, and actionable and address the root causes of the issues identified
  • Follow-up on management’s remediation plans on a timely basis if required
  • Develop effective working relationships with staff in various areas throughout OMERS and OMERS business units.

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Working towards a university degree in a relevant field of business, or finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Highly experienced with MS Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
