Position Overview
As the Recruitment, Masa Gap and Teen Journey Manager, you will play a crucial role in increasing the number of North American Fellows for Masa’s Gap Year and Teen programs in Israel. This position is integral to the North American team, as you will develop and execute recruitment strategies, build strategic partnerships, and implement targeted marketing campaigns to drive awareness and enrollment. Success in this role is measured by achieving and exceeding monthly recruitment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Outreach
- Develop and execute ground marketing strategies to recruit participants for Masa Gap and Teen Journey programs.
- Build strategic relationships with communal organizations, youth movements, summer camps, high schools, and other relevant organizations.
- Work with high school guidance and college counselors nationally to promote Israel program opportunities.
- Represent Masa at local and national events, including career fairs, Jewish community gatherings, and conferences.
- Host online and offline recruitment events, managing the entire process from concept to execution and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Masa Gap parent network to enhance engagement and advocacy efforts.
- Work within the CRM to manage leads, track engagement, and ensure smooth conversion through the recruitment funnel.
2. Marketing and Content Creation
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness and engagement for Masa Gap and Teen Journey programs.
- Collaborate with the Israel-based marketing team to create compelling content, digital ads, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Identify and engage with alumni and influencers to boost brand awareness and program visibility.
- Create social media content that aligns with recruitment efforts and effectively communicates the value of Masa’s programs.
- Support B2C and B2B marketing campaigns to expand program outreach.
3. Event Planning and Management
- Organize and execute high-impact informational sessions, workshops, and recruitment events with key partners.
- Coordinate with local and national partners to host Masa-branded events that engage potential participants.
- Develop interactive campus activations and engagement opportunities to promote gap year and teen programs.
4. Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with high schools, youth movements, and relevant organizations.
- Work closely with educators, counselors, and community professionals to promote Masa Gap and Teen Journey programs.
- Strengthen relationships with parents and alumni networks to enhance recruitment initiatives.
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor recruitment metrics, social media engagement, and event performance to inform data-driven decisions.
- Track ground marketing success and adjust strategies as needed to optimize effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment progress, outreach effectiveness, and marketing impact.
Qualifications and Experience:
- New York-based.
- 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, sales, event planning, or marketing.
- Proven track record of success in executing outreach and marketing campaigns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to large groups.
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Event planning experience, with the ability to coordinate and execute recruitment events.
- Ability to travel frequently, including evenings and weekends during peak seasons.
- Familiarity with Israel programs and Jewish communal structures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for Israel and immersive international experiences (Masa alumni preferred).
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking in front of large groups.
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude with the ability to inspire and motivate prospective participants.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel within North America and to Israel as needed.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for recruitment events.
