We like and align with Vitalik’s def/acc thesis and also contributed to the recent AI Assurance Technology report. Lionheart is the first VC fund with this focus, having invested in AI startups with this thesis since 2020. Our AI portfolio includes Softmax, Anthropic, Goodfire, Gray Swan, Piramidal, and Lucid Computing.

  • Prepare materials and manage our data room to support fundraising efforts;
  • Prepare quarterly investor updates for our limited partners;
  • Coordinate with Lionheart’s research team to apply impact assessment methodologies to existing and potential portfolio companies;
  • Support with ad hoc projects, including research projects, materials, and events;
  • Build relationships with our advisors, venture partners, founders, other VCs, thought leaders, and subject matter experts across the ecosystem; and
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, with a demonstrated track record in early-stage investing;
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, or enough relevant experience in lieu of a degree;
  • Relevant experience in artificial intelligence or adjacent industry;
  • Ability to source deal flow, conduct diligence, and execute investments, with examples of past deals;
  • Ability to effectively leverage AI tools and platforms to enhance research capabilities, streamline workflows, and increase overall productivity, without sacrificing quality;
  • Strong project management skills, with comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously, seeing tasks or projects through from inception to completion with minimal input; and
  • Working within a US timezone.

You Possess:

  • An entrepreneurial mindset;
  • A deep interest in personal growth and exploration of consciousness;
  • Passionate about technology and the world of artificial intelligence, with a strong commitment to the responsible development of AI; and
  • Care about the global impact of AI development and its impact on humanity at large.

Benefits:
