Meet Blake Blake Gendebien is a husband, father of three boys, second-generation dairy farmer, and small business owner. He was born and raised on a farm in the North Country and he’s been deeply rooted in this community his whole life – as a JV basketball coach, Lisbon Central School Board Member, and founder of a non-profit supporting kids with pediatric cancer and their families.

Learn more at blakegendebienforcongress.com Job Description Blake Gendebien is searching for applicants for a highly competitive, well-funded House race for the 2026 cycle. This role offers significant room for leadership and career growth over the course of the election.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with one or more cycles of campaign experience to take the next step in their career to pivot towards campaign management or more senior organizing roles.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Coordinate logistics and staff campaign events including but not limited to town halls, meet and greets, visibility actions, and some limited organizing events
- Identify and staff principal at community events
- Help build and manage off-year volunteer program
- Build and manage a large in person and remote internship program
- Be the eyes and ears of the campaign on the ground
- Manage relationships with community leaders, local organizations, community associations, and campaign partners
- Help manage the campaign schedule to maximize candidate and staff time
- Staff and drive the principal
- Additional duties as assigned by the consultant team
Qualifications include:
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Relentless kindness and an ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
- A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation
- Nice to have: Personal familiarity with NY-21
