We’re building a diverse, motivated, and mission-driven team to fight for working families, protect our democracy, and deliver real results. With Michigan being a critical battleground state, we’re looking for a Deputy Finance Director who’s ready to make an impact.</p> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Position Summary</strong></h2> <p>The Deputy Finance Director will play a key role in executing a robust, multi-channel fundraising program. Working closely with the Finance Director, this individual will oversee day-to-day operations, assist in managing donor pipelines, and contribute to strategic planning to ensure we meet our ambitious fundraising goals.</p> <p>This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to help build a winning U.S. Senate campaign from the ground up.</p> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Assist in building and executing the overall finance plan</strong> to raise funds through high-dollar donors, digital fundraising, call time, events, and PACs.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Help manage and expand donor pipelines</strong> by tracking prospects, coordinating follow-ups, and ensuring CRM data integrity.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Lead candidate call time</strong> logistics, including prepping call sheets, tracking commitments, and ensuring follow-through.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Oversee donor research and briefing memos</strong> in coordination with campaign staff and consultants.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Staff the candidate at some events</strong> and fundraising meetings as needed, including some travel throughout Michigan.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>2+ years of experience in campaign fundraising or a related field (nonprofit development, political consulting, etc.)</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent organizational and time-management skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong written and verbal communication</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency with NGP VAN, Google Workspace, ActBlue, and Microsoft Excel</p> </li> <li> <p>High level of discretion and professionalism with sensitive information</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends as needed</p> </li> <li> <p>Michigan ties or battleground state experience is a plus</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Competitive salary based on experience</p> </li> <li> <p>Health benefits offered</p> </li> <li> <p>Travel and tech stipends available</p> </li> <li> <p>Opportunity to work on a top-tier U.S. Senate race and build key campaign skills</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> </div>
