The Israel-America Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Israel), established in 1965, is a voluntary organization of companies and individuals led by Chairperson Ofra Strauss and Honorary Chairperson, U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Hon. David M. Friedman. Since its inception, the Chamber has been dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of two-way trade and investment between Israel and the U.S. The Chamber is the largest binational chamber in Israel and the exclusive local representative of the Washington, DC-based U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world's largest business organization with more than 3 million members. Representing the U.S. Chamber enables the promotion of business and government with a goal of strengthening the economy.
