Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C) — Reporting, Automation & Analytics — Analyst (JMumbai)

Role overview

The RM&C Reporting, Automation & Analytics Associate will support a “fintech-style” function that blends automation/technology build-out with planning & analysis (P&A) responsibilities. The role will design, automate, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions, and deliver high-quality Executive Management Reports (EMRs) and dashboards used by senior leaders across Risk Management and Compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Automation & technology development
    • Build, automate, and maintain scalable reporting solutions and data workflows using SQL, Python, Alteryx, Databricks, Tableau, and Anaplan XL.
    • Improve process efficiency through standardization, controls, documentation, and simplification of recurring deliverables.
    • Maintain and enhance data pipelines, logic layers, and reporting datasets to improve accuracy, timeliness, and auditability.
  • Executive reporting & analytics
    • Produce and enhance Executive Management Reports (EMRs), including KPI reporting, commentary, variance drivers, and executive-ready presentation materials.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards (including headcount dashboards and non-compensation expense dashboards) and ensure consistent definitions and metrics.
    • Deliver weekly/monthly headcount reporting and support hierarchy maintenance (org structures, reporting lines, cost center/management hierarchies) to enable accurate rollups and insights.
    • Perform ad-hoc analytics and deep dives for senior management, including trend analysis and root-cause investigation.

  • Stakeholder management
    • Face off with stakeholders across Risk Management and Compliance to gather requirements, translate them into repeatable solutions, and communicate progress/status.
    • Partner effectively with Finance and adjacent teams as needed to align data, definitions, and reporting outcomes.

Required qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL (querying, data validation, reconciliation, and performance-aware design).
  • Working proficiency in Python for automation, analytics, and repeatable data processing.
  • Strong experience with Alteryx (workflow automation) and Tableau (dashboard development and maintenance).
  • Experience using Databricks for data preparation/analysis and building scalable datasets.
  • Experience with Anaplan XL (reporting outputs, model interaction, and planning/reporting workflows).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort explaining variance drivers and business impacts.
  • Ability to create clear, executive-ready deliverables (strong Excel and PowerPoint skills).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential information.
