Complex Assets Product Management sits within Securities Services. The team is not a standalone product group — instead it works alongside Middle Office, Fund Accounting and Margin Services to shape and deliver an integrated and efficient operating model for our clients. It is responsible for product strategy, client experience design, and service governance across OTC Derivatives, Contracts for Difference, and Loans. The team defines and positions the product offering to clients while ensuring it evolves alongside changing market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and client needs.
Position Description
As a Complex Assets Product Associate, you will report to the APAC Complex Assets Product Lead and support the regional product agenda.
In this role, you will support a broad range of Product Management functions including, but not limited to, sales/RFI/RFP support, product offering definition, client management, and internal stakeholder coordination.
You are expected to develop strong subject matter expertise in how Complex Assets are managed across Middle Office, Fund Accounting and Margin Services, and to support initiatives that enhance operational standards, the product, and the client experience.

Job responsibilities
- Act as a local point of contact for internal stakeholders across product management, product development, operations, client services, and sales, escalating as appropriate.
- Prepare RFI/RFP responses and coordinate input from relevant teams
- Assist with deal pricing, contract review, and profitability summaries for RFPs and organic growth
- Contribute to client management and assist in articulating the product offering alongside Fund Accounting, Middle Office and Margin Services
- Support the APAC Product Manager Lead and senior stakeholders in developing Complex Assets product definitions and strategy
- Draft and maintain sales literature and support client service education programs to ensure salesperson/client service competency in the Complex Assets product offering
- Monitor applicable regulations and flag regulatory changes that may impact product offerings or solutions
- Support strategic initiatives to improve cross-product operating models
- 2–4 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, operations, or a related function
- Securities industry experience required, in middle office or back office operations of an asset manager or financial services firm preferred, with technical understanding of the investment company industry
- Working knowledge of Derivatives including OTCs, CFDs, FX, ETDs; exposure to other complex assets is an advantage
- Some client-facing exposure preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information, both oral and written, in a concise and informative manner
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients
- Experience working in a matrixed organisation preferred
- Ability to contribute to product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development and requirements definition
- Good prioritisation skills and an ability to manage competing deadlines
- Familiarity with cost and pricing methodologies for the purpose of evaluating new business is an advantage
- Professional and proactive approach to work, with a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, politely impatient with a can-do attitude
