HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES COMMUNICATIONS, MD

Job Summary: We seek an experienced, visionary Head of Human Resources Communications (Managing Director) to lead and modernize our global HR communications function during a period of rapid transformation and AI-driven change. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, with accountability to the Head of Employee Experience Communications, this leader will set enterprise strategy for how we inform, engage and inspire more than 320,000 employees across 65 countries, while elevating our employer brand and strengthening trust. The ideal candidate is an enterprise thinker and change driver who pairs sharp strategic communications judgment with operational excellence, bringing innovation in channels, data, and content at scale to simplify complex topics and accelerate understanding across a diverse, global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the global HR communications strategy and operating model, aligning to firm priorities and regulatory requirements, and embedding change communications for major transformations, including AI and digital modernization.
  • Serve as principal communications advisor to the CHRO, senior HR leadership, and Corporate Communications leaders, crafting enterprise narratives and “explainers” for complex programs (e.g., benefits, compensation, talent, regulatory topics).
  • Drive innovation across channels, tooling, and measurement—piloting innovative, digital and AI-enabled content development, advanced segmentation, personalization, and outcomes-based analytics to increase reach and engagement.
  • Oversee integrated campaigns, executive communications, and high-impact events (global Town Halls, strategy roadshows), ensuring consistent voice, brand integrity, and strong governance across regions and businesses.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, global team; establish quality standards, editorial rigor, and agile ways of working that accelerate delivery and ensure resilience across simultaneous priorities.
  • Create decision frameworks and escalation protocols for sensitive employee topics; guide internal spokespersons and leaders to ensure clarity, empathy, and credibility.
  • Institute a robust measurement framework with clear OKRs and dashboards that quantify awareness, comprehension, and action—using insights to refine strategy and investment.

Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 15+ years of progressive communications leadership, with deep experience in HR/change communications at global scale.
  • Proven enterprise storytelling and executive counsel experience—comfort advising C-suite and shaping firmwide narratives.
  • Demonstrated track record driving innovation in digital channels, content operations, event management and measurement; familiarity with AI-assisted communications workflows.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across formats (scripts, FAQs, long-form explainers, leadership emails, decks).
  • Strong operator: builds durable processes, manages complex stakeholder networks, and delivers under tight timelines.
  • Experience navigating highly regulated environments; skilled at translating policy and regulatory requirements into clear employee-facing content.
  • People leader who builds high-performance teams and fosters a culture of clarity, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
  • BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
