You will coordinate deployments across multiple technology teams and product owners while maintaining clear control evidence and stakeholder alignment. This role offers broad exposure across lines of business and modern planning platforms including AWS and Anaplan.
As a Release & Event Management Analyst within Firmwide Planning & Analysis forecasting products, you will coordinate end-to-end release and event execution across F3, FWPAAWS, and Anaplan ecosystems. You will be responsible for partnering with technology teams and product owners to manage scope, dependencies, communications, and deployment readiness across lines of business. You will maintain strong governance and control evidence through disciplined documentation, RAID management, testing coordination, and timely escalation of risks and issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Own pre-production and production release execution across F3, AWS products, and Anaplan, including cadence planning and ad-hoc Anaplan releases.
- Define and maintain release/event governance by documenting standards, processes, metrics, tooling, and end-to-end request lifecycle artifacts.
- Coordinate scope and dependencies with technology teams and product owners to identify impacted components and manage timing collisions.
- Drive deployment readiness by aligning stakeholders on requirements, approvals, and execution steps.
- Escalate risks and issues by coordinating mitigations, driving approvals, and engaging senior management for timely decisions.
- Lead release/event communications as a single point of contact and maintain a monthly calendar of releases, events, and publishing dates.
- Triage end-user issues by translating problems into actionable items for technology partners and product owners to support prioritization and resolution.
- Coordinate day-of smoke testing by aligning resources, execution windows, and sign-off capture.
- Maintain control evidence by tracking artifacts, RAID items, and sign-offs in Confluence and related tracking mechanisms.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Demonstrate hands-on familiarity with Jira and Confluence for workflow tracking, documentation, and coordination.
- Apply strong attention to detail and operate effectively in configuration-based or low-code environments.
- Use data and analysis to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Manage stakeholders effectively by building partnerships, multitasking, and operating in fast-moving environments.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, including drafting polished updates for broad distribution.
- Engage confidently with senior management and facilitate alignment across teams.
- Adapt quickly to evolving platforms and deployment models, including AWS-based environments.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Leverage ServiceNow experience for change workflow tracking and coordination.
- Apply prior experience in release management, change/risk management, or Agile delivery.
- Demonstrate familiarity with finance forecasting ecosystems such as Firmwide P&A products and/or Anaplan planning processes.
- Support analytics or dashboarding workstreams and translate operational metrics into actions.
- Utilize knowledge of financial reporting and finance/technology terminology in stakeholder interactions.
- Exhibit strong ownership and follow-through in end-to-end delivery.
- Operate collaboratively across lines of business and global time zones.
