Help keep global trade moving by ensuring transactions are processed accurately, released on time, and delivered with strong risk awareness. As a Specialty Product Analyst (Team Leader), you’ll guide day-to-day execution, support team performance, and help reduce rejects through coaching and disciplined process management. You’ll collaborate closely with partners across sales, service, product, operations, and technology to solve issues and improve how work gets done. As a Specialty Product Analyst (Team Leader) in Trade & Working Capital Operations, you will process and release trade finance transactions while supporting the manager in driving team goals and daily execution priorities. You will help ensure transactions are completed with accuracy, quality, and adherence to internal policies and applicable rules, while identifying and escalating risks. You will also promote an inclusive team environment by coaching peers, sharing best practices, and contributing to projects and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Process and release trade finance transactions in line with procedures and quality standards.
  • Co-facilitate team huddles and meetings and support daily volume planning and priorities.
  • Coach teammates through constructive feedback to reduce transaction rejects and rework.
  • Ensure transactions meet internal policy requirements and applicable international trade finance rules.
  • Monitor transaction queues, assign work, and drive completion to service level expectations.
  • Identify and escalate red flags, regulatory concerns, and potential compliance breaches.
  • Collaborate with processing teams to adopt best practices and improve timely delivery.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, management, and partners across sales, service, and product.
  • Assess upstream and downstream impacts to support smooth end-to-end processing.
  • Research and resolve issues independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Participate in projects and support ongoing compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or have 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate understanding of United States regulations and Office of Foreign Assets Control compliance.
  • Demonstrate willingness to work any shift as needed.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Demonstrate experience in the banking industry, including accounting and finance exposure.
  • Hold a Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists certification.
  • Hold a Certificate in International Trade and Finance certification.
  • Demonstrate project management experience.
  • Have 3 years of experience in trade work and strong knowledge of documentary credit rules and reimbursements rules.
