As an Associate, Recruiter within China, you will support the execution of the recruitment process, ensuring timely coordination with stakeholders and a strong candidate experience. You will partner closely with the location HR Business Advisor and hiring teams to understand hiring needs and deliver against agreed timelines.
You will collaborate with regional and local partners to align recruiting activity with business priorities, and ensure processes are followed in line with local requirements and firm policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support full lifecycle recruitment, including role intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer process support, and onboarding handoff
- Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand requirements, provide updates, and maintain hiring momentum
- Source and identify candidates through multiple channels, including direct sourcing and talent mapping
- Maintain accurate pipeline and process tracking, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Use recruitment metrics and reporting to support hiring discussions and continuous improvement
- Support diversity and inclusion objectives through inclusive sourcing and candidate assessment practices
- Ensure clear communication between business and regional partners regarding recruitment progress
- Support adherence to required controls and local/regulatory requirements, escalating risks or issues as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably within banking or financial services
- Proven ability to support full lifecycle recruiting in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in simplified Chinese, supporting the China market
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner effectively with stakeholders
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of risk and controls and ability to follow established recruiting processes and documentation requirements
