Join our Human Resource Global Operations (HRGO) team to make your mark in delivering accurate, compliant payroll for a large, dynamic workforce.
As a Senior Professional in Human Resource Services, you will ensure precise, compliant payroll operations while partnering across HR to optimize timekeeping, processing, and reporting. You will drive quality checks, controls, and training, support regional and global initiatives, and contribute to process and policy improvements. You will also lead final pay processing, tax updates, and statutory reporting, and assist on projects that improve procedures and systems.
- Cover end‑to‑end payroll functions across timekeeping, payroll reporting, compliance, and initiatives that ensure pay accuracy.
- Partner with cross‑functional HR teams to support payroll processes, projects, reporting, and broader HR efforts.
- Support regional and global initiatives, including role expansions and ad‑hoc projects to enhance processes and functions.
- Conduct regular quality checks to enable error‑free processing; assist with training team members and local leaders on processes, systems, and applications.
- Manage final pay and retirement release operations.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulatory reporting requirements.
- Manage tax updates, manual payroll inputs, and final pay processing for each payroll cycle.
- Recommend new approaches and policy enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain current knowledge through training, professional reading, networking, and developmental assignments.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum two years of end‑to‑end payroll operations experience, including timekeeping, payroll processing, and final pay.
- Hands‑on experience supporting payroll compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Exposure to regional and global payroll coordination and cross‑functional HR projects.
- Strong knowledge of Philippines payroll and tax rules, including BIR requirements for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings, tax updates/annualization, and alphalists.
- Demonstrated active listening, probing, and reading comprehension skills.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including attention to detail and problem solving.
- Proven ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems or case management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Experience with HRIS or payroll platforms (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, or equivalent).
- Experience with payroll vendor coordination and year‑end processes (e.g., alphalists, annualization).
- Experience building or automating payroll reports and reconciliations (e.g., Excel, Power Query, or similar).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma) for payroll processes.
- Flexible hours Monday through Friday; some schedules may include Saturday.
- Overtime and weekend work as needed to support business requirements.
