Position Overview
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of model portfolios which integrate private/semi-liquid investment products into diversified asset allocation strategies.
Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations, and client-facing materials to communicate model portfolio strategy, performance attribution, and market insights.
Conduct quantitative analysis to evaluate portfolio performance, risk characteristics, and optimization of different objective functions across traditional and alternative asset classes.
Assist in the development and refinement of asset allocation frameworks using tools such as mean-variance optimization, Monte Carlo simulations, and scenario analysis.
Collaborate with financial advisors and clients to construct portfolios tailored to various risk profiles, investment objectives, and market conditions.
Perform due diligence and comparative analysis of alternative investment strategies, including private equity, private credit, private real assets, and structured products.
Monitor macroeconomic trends, capital market assumptions, and investment research to inform asset allocation decisions.
Utilize financial modeling tools and platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Morningstar, Factset) to support data-driven investment decision-making.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory developments, and innovations in portfolio construction and alternative investments.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record
Minimum 4 years of prior experience in Capital Markets; experience is Sales & Trading or Asset Management is a plus
Advanced proficiency in Excel as well as Python, R or similar programming language with the ability to build complex financial models incorporating private and semi-liquid investments, asset-allocation strategies and performance attribution
Working knowledge of finance and alternative investments preferred
Strong writing skillset, including ability to synthesize complex financial concepts
Demonstrated superior PowerPoint skills with a proven ability to create visually engaging presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas; Both creative and commercial
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various groups
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness and desire to learn
Strong organizational and follow-through skills; ability to manage multiple projects
Capacity to discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information
Driven, strong passion for self-improvement

Pay Range
$140,000 - $175,000Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates) is committed to championing opportunity.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
