About You

We’re looking for a highly motivated Investor Relations Intern to join our team for a six-month internship. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside the people driving Earlybird’s LP relationships, fundraising strategy, and investor communications - giving you deep exposure to the inner workings of the venture capital industry.

You’ll collaborate directly with team members and partners, take ownership of meaningful tasks, and gain visibility into what drives fund strategy behind the scenes. If you’re structured, analytical, and excited to work in a high-performance environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About Earlybird
Founded in 1997, Earlybird backs exceptional early-stage companies across Europe - supporting them with capital, strategic guidance, and access to a global network. Our platform includes dedicated strategies for tech and health, a Growth Opportunity Fund for follow-ons, and a pro-bono initiative, Vision Lab. With €2.5 billion under management and a track record of 9 IPOs and 35 trade sales, Earlybird is one of Europe’s most established venture capital firms.
At Earlybird, your projects, responsibilities, and tasks will likely include:
  • Support investor communications - help prepare presentations, performance reports, and fundraising updates for our institutional investors

  • Conduct investor and market research - identify and analyze potential Limited Partners across global markets

  • Assist with meetings and events - prepare materials and background briefs for roadshows, investor calls, and roundtables

  • Work cross-functionally - collaborate with the investment, finance, and marketing teams on fundraising-related topics

  • Own operational tasks - maintain and structure internal databases and tracking tools for LP engagement

  • Contribute ideas and insights - help sharpen our messaging and explore new opportunities to position Earlybird with investors

What we hope you bring to the role:
  • Recently completed or currently enrolled in a university degree (3rd year Bachelor’s or Master’s) with outstanding academic performance

  • Experience in consulting, banking, or private equity environments through internships

  • Demonstrated experience creating high-quality, client-facing presentations is a plus

  • Highly structured and analytical; confident in handling data and developing presentations

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for visual storytelling and structure

  • Confident using Excel for research, data structuring, and simple modeling tasks

  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Interest in venture capital, startups, and institutional fundraising

  • Work authorization for Germany or the UK

  • Availability for a 6-month, full-time internship starting July 2025 or later
