Duke Gastroenterology Research Training Program Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Duke Division of Gastroenterology is seeking applicants for a two-year post-doctoral fellowship within the Duke Gastroenterology Research Training Program. This position will be funded by our NIDDK T32.

Eligibility:

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
  • PhD applicants must have been awarded their degree or anticipated prior to June 30, 2025
  • Planned research experience with a mentor from the Duke Gastroenterology Research Training Program

Award details

  • One year of salary support
  • Funds to support supplies, tuition and travel

  • Applicant CV or NIH biosketch
  • Personal statement (limit 2 pages) of research experience and future plans
  • Proposed research program: Applicants currently at Duke working with Duke GI T32 mentors are expected to submit a detailed research proposal (limit 3 pages). Other Duke applicants and any external applicants should instead submit a 1-2 page statement outlining potential mentors and research programs from the list of faculty mentors.
