This Postdoctoral Associate position will play a critical role in supporting the clinical implementation of MR Fingerprinting at Duke, making the use of new imaging tools more automatic and streamlined. Key responsibilities will include:
1. Implementing and quality-assuring MR Fingerprinting scans on multiple clinical scanners across Duke, including four Siemens scanners at Duke North and DMP, with future plans to extend to GE scanners.
2. Integrating advanced imaging tools, such as Siemens platforms for automated data transfer and image generation, and supporting data management through tools for scan logging and tracking.
3. Coordinating closely with physicians to analyze patient scan data, present results, and optimize MR techniques to meet evolving clinical needs.
4. This position is essential for managing technical implementation, optimizing scan protocols, and ensuring timely delivery and interpretation of imaging results for physicians. Once completed, the new workflow will allow patients scheduled for neuroimaging to receive new MRF scans, supporting the needs from physicians and accelerating clinical collaborations. The database collected for this new workflow will also open new opportunities in disease diagnosis and treatment planning.

This position is essential for the successful clinical translation and operational integration of MRF into routine care.
Technical requirement for this job:
1. A solid understanding of MRI physics and imaging
2. Strong programming and data analysis skills
