About You
BreakLine thrives when our participants land their perfect roles in the tech industry. We work with our BreakLiners hand-in-hand as they navigate their interview processes with our partners. We are looking for a hungry and coachable Participant Customer Success Associate to manage a portfolio of BreakLine Participants.
As a Participant Customer Success Associate, you will support the Customer Success team in BreakLine’s most important outcome: employment for BreakLine participants. Our CS team has a direct impact on the growth of the company, and this position will have a significant social impact as well. The ideal teammate will demonstrate the same attributes we seek in our Participants: intellectual horsepower, problem-solving agility, grit, collaboration, and personal leadership.
What You Need to Succeed
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Ability to easily build rapport and foster relationships with customers (Participants) in order to achieve business outcomes
- Comfortable carrying a quota
- Thrive working hard, hustling, and having a good time (this is not a 9-5 job)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Energized by interacting with people regularly, both externally and internally
- Motivated, positive, organized, gritty, competitive, low ego, empathetic, comfortable being uncomfortable, problem solver, resilient to change, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), willing to roll up your sleeves, inspiring, passionate about tech
- Equal parts entrepreneur and team player
- Mission-driven self-starter
- Belief in quality workforce development as a business driver for top companies
- Willingness to hear “no” many times without losing any fire or drive to succeed
- Ability to problem solve and manage through challenging situations and provide resolutions
BreakLine does not have a physical office and the team works remotely.
What You Will Do
- Manage Participants’ interview processes from start to finish. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Creating opportunities for Participants (working cross-functionally with Partner CSMs to understand roles and partner companies in order to pattern-match Participant skills to high-priority roles)
- Converting opportunities (providing 1:1 prep, guidance, and feedback to Participants)
- Closing opportunities (providing Participants with the information they need to get them across the finish line with our partner companies)
- Onboard and acclimate Participants to the BreakLine process
- Act as the voice of the Participant, advocating for them both internally and externally.
- Equip Participants with the tools they need to identify and communicate their skills, strengths, and stories through 1:1 coaching sessions
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities within your territory in order to generate revenue and outcomes for BreakLine, our partners, and our participants
- Repeat! Across your portfolio with as many Participants as possible
- Work cross-functionally with our Outreach, Admissions, Education, Operations, and Partner Customer Success teams as you report out on Participant experience throughout each phase of the interview process
