Responsibilities:

• Work with existing staff on various data projects.
  • Working with commercial real estate brokers to continue updating buildings and land in internal databases.
  • Helping gather information for RFI (request for information) requests from the State.
• Represent rural communities at the BNEDC
  • Meet with local representatives to gather information on needs.
  • Connect communities with resources.
  • Attend regular rural mayors’ association meetings.
• Attend various events in the community (Chamber events, local government meetings) on behalf of the BNEDC.
  • Gain knowledge in the field of Economic Development.
• Help with planning events around entrepreneurship.
  • Gather data on best practices from other communities.
  • Conduct outreach to various partner organizations.

Majors (preferred): Business, Data Science, Economics, Marketing, Political Science

GPA: 3.0

Schedule: 10-15 Hours per week with flexible schedule
