💡 About you
For our upcoming program in March 25, 2024, we are looking for an experienced marketing and sales professional to join our next cohort in Toronto. You will have the opportunity to meet a co-founder and build a business from scratch, with the support of Antler. In addition to the highlighted skills above, you should also have the following competencies:
- 5+ years of experience executing and/or leading digital marketing programs for top digital marketing agencies, internet-companies or client marketing organizations
- Vast experience in leading campaign operations across multiple channels and products preferable in e-commerce, marketplace or e-commerce arm of retail companies
- Deep expertise and knowledge in digital strategy, omnichannel, digital culture and agile process
- Digital marketing savvy on multiple digital and physical marketing platforms, systems and tools
- Strategy oriented, with deep expertise in business and wide knowledge in enterprise management and superior level of problem solving
- Ability to influence and be a natural leader to manage the internal team and coordinate the multidisciplinary external teams in complex client environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and communicate with a wide range of technical and non-technical/low technology literacy stakeholders and customers
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in conducting market research analysis, solving business problems, innovative thinking, developing technical roadmaps and go to market strategies, story outlines, writing user stories, refining product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Ability to work independently, without the need for day-to-day guidance, make independent decisions and influence positive outcomes.
📝 Program details
Start date: March 25, 2024
Duration: 10 weeks
Location: Toronto
Requirements: you will need to be a Canadian citizen or PR card holder in order to qualify
Structure: the in-person program is structured in two phases and runs full-time:
- Phase 1 runs for ~2.5 months and is focused on venture development and testing a startup hypothesis. Here we surround you with everything you need to build at lightning speed: a community of diverse founders so that you can find the right co-founder, coaching from our team of proven founders and advisors, perks from hundreds of partners and a global network. At the end of this phase, your team will pitch to our Investment Committee. Successful teams will receive pre-seed funding from Antler and move to Phase 2
- During Phase 2, which runs for ~3.5 months, you will receive personalized coaching from our partners and global network of advisors to help you scale and hire your core team. It culminates with Demo Day, where you will get the opportunity to pitch to local and international investors
What you get:
- Antler provides founders with a CAD$3,000 stipend during the 10-week Residency.
- The opportunity to pitch at Antler Canada's Investment Committee, that will invest at the following terms: CAD$150,000 pre-seed investment for a fully diluted 10% equity stake. If you don't get an investment from Antler, we do not charge any fee nor take any equity.
